Emily's 8-year-old life has turned upside-down when her mother, Lana, falls into a mysterious coma that has even the doctor's stumped. Told to 'sit still and be good', Emily feels helpless and in crisis.

That is, until Emilia, the 18-year-old storybook version of Emily drags her into a magical library and tells her that she's inherited the title of Book-Keeper, the guardian of all stories.

Together, they must use creativity and imagination to fight the mysterious dark force that's corrupting stories and somehow keeping Lana's mind captive.
